Looking for the pattern.

Ask five people in a business what makes it different and you will get five answers.

Ask five regular customers why they keep coming back and you might find something more useful.

“You make it easy.”

“You explain things properly.”

“You do what you say you’ll do.”

None of these is likely to win an award for extravagant language. But each gives you something to work with.

When customers independently notice the same thing, pay attention. You may have found a strength so familiar to your team that nobody thinks to mention it.

That happens surprisingly easily. What feels ordinary inside a business can be valuable to someone outside it.

Before searching for a new way to describe what you do, look at the evidence already arriving in conversations, feedback and repeat business.

What keeps coming up?

And if that’s what customers value most, would a stranger spot it on your website?
